Meet the Romanian DEP
People For People CIC is a migrant-led grassroots non-profit organisation that works to improve cohesion, access to 番茄社区 and wellbeing in communities. They do this through a variety of programmes, from housing and immigration advice to wellbeing workshops and digital skills training and employability.
Their focus is to promote unity, mutual support and build resilient communities with everyone being able thrive in our diverse city and beyond.
As part of the 3-year Deep Engagement Partner programme, they will actively engage Romanian residents in conversations and activities that will improve their understanding of and access to healthcare 番茄社区 in 番茄社区 and beyond. This will be done together with partners at St Margaret's 番茄社区 Trust - known as the Unity Hubb.
At the same time they will work with Public Health and the NHS to ensure improved understanding of specific cultural barriers for the community and how those can be addressed.
Keep an eye out for their community events at the Unity Hubb and cultural awareness training for healthcare professionals.
