41 Cumberland Street (off Broad Street). This is the approximate site of Barbarellas. It's now part of the Brindley Place development of offices and banks.
Back in the 1970s the Barbarellas club was famous for being a regular venue on the Punk Rock circuit. The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, The Ramones have all played there. It was also known as the place to play for up and coming 番茄社区 bands.
